What Tricks Employers play which Deciding CTC package?

Often you don’t get what you promised in salary, as employer tell you CTC but your actual salary is much less that that after deductions. Pls. let me know how do they tricks this.

“You must know what cost to company or CTC actually means to understand why your take home salary is lesser than your CTC. Your CTC is a cumulative figure of many allowances along with your basic pay. Your CTC consists of these components:
1. Basic Pay
2. HRA allowance
3. Travel allowance
4. Medical allowance/insuance
5. PF (your part as well as your company’s part against your PF)
6. Bonus/Incentives
7. Gratuity
8. Holiday allowance
9. Overtime allowance
10. Food allowance
11. Entertainment allowance
12. Dearness allowance (paid to government employees and PSU’s employees)
CTC takes into consideration every penny that an organisation spends on its employee. CTC is counted before tax deduction. “
