India has shown tremendous growth in E-Commerce segment .With an internet user base of over 300 million , India has third largest internet population after US and China . E-Commerce creates new opportunities for entrepreneurial start-ups.
There is future of -commerce industry in India because major of online buying decisions are made on social media.Moreover the clients can stay updated by the post published on the media. DGCA is now fast tracking the process of issuing the guidelines for the use of drones for civil purposes in India. Statistics suggest the future of internet lies in internet. Google is reportedly working on its own “Buy Now” button, that would allow e-shoppers search for products on Google with single click.
Skills for E-Commerce professionals :
People skills -most role are client facing, so will need to be confident with clients, salespeople and other industry professionals.
Written and verbal communication skills and focus on customer experience is important.
Organisational and time management skills to use your time effectively on behalf of your client and deliver excellent ROI.
Analytical skills -you will need to be great at making sense of numbers ans data.
Ability to spot opportunities and adapt quickly.

Currently, India is witnessing a huge change in its consumption of the internet. With a commendable penetration of smart phones across the length and breadth of the country and more and more consumers shifting to their handsets for shopping, e-commerce players definitely see India among their largest markets. According to e-Tailing India, e-commerce market in our country is set to hit $76 billion by 2021 from $13.6 billion in 2014. Therefore, you can safely assume that e-commerce is here to stay for a long.
