Often, we come across a situation where we had to leave Job, due any reason and then there comes Gap between 2 jobs. Situations like process closed or some issue happen.
While interviewing for next Job HR ask to explain this thing and they are really cautious about such situations. How should we explain this so that it didn’t lead to lack of trust and convince HR?

Explaining employment gaps or sabbatical to a HR manager seems like a tricky task. Well, indeed it takes a great deal of convincing power to make some believe your explanation. The best way is to stick to the truth, especially if your gap was a result of your last employer’s fault. HR managers are a part of the process; therefore, they understand issues that arise as a result of lengthy recruitment processes, companies hiring overheads for a same position or layoffs. In case your sabbatical was due to a genuine personal/medical reason then, it is better to inform the HR of the same. Do not change your statements again and again.
