Yes, you can work in a council (Advisory committes) or corporates soon after passing your law school. To work in councils or in corporates, you do not require to pass bar exam. But for pursuing a career in litigation, you must clear the bar exam first and then get yourself registered within two years of clearing the exam. For earning 6-7 lakh per annum in a council, I would suggest you to be updated with all the information about your choosen legal field and show a good experience to the council with good number of detailed internships. Also freshers do not get a huge package in the beginning, therefore focus on gaining knowledge and exposure instead of on money.
