If you wish to become a CA after your school, you are advised to choose (Mathematics, Economics, & Commerce) MEC subjects to pursue the course. Mathematics is not necessary to pursue the CA course; however, it will enhance your calculation part, which is the core of any accounting course. If you aren’t strong in mathematics, then go with (Civics - Economics - Commerce) CEC; it wouldn’t be making any huge difference in your prospects of going for a Chartered Accountant program.
